The town of Radenci (207m altitude, 2215 inhabitants) lies in the northeast of Slovenia, 48 km from Maribor, 85 km from Graz, 240 km from Vienna and 300 km from Trieste. Radenci have developed into a health resort between the northern hillsides of Slovenske gorice and Mura. The wider area of Radenci is one of the richest and best quality mineral water regions in Slovenia. The healing effects of the natural mineral water coming from local springs were discovered in 1882. Later on it was established that the mild climate with 253 days of sunshine on average per year and the abundance of hydrogen carbonate thermal mineral water and inorganic peloid can also be used in various treatments. You are warmly welcome to visit the Radenska museum, enjoy in nice walks along the Mura river or visit a potter's workshop, as pottery is a traditional craft in this region.
